What's the difference between SGPA and CGPA?

SGPA is your Grade Point Average for a single semester. CGPA is the credit-weighted average of every semester so far. Enter your grades for the current semester (or a single overall SGPA for past semesters) and both update as you type.

How is my percentage calculated?

It depends on the regulation. For older batches the standard Anna University formula is (CGPA − 0.75) × 10; for newer batches it's CGPA × 10. The exact formula used is always shown next to your percentage in the summary card.

My college isn't listed yet. When will it be added?

New colleges are added regularly. Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) is live now, with more coming soon. If your college follows Anna University regulations, which most engineering programmes in Tamil Nadu do, you can still pick REC and get accurate results today.

Why don't some grades count towards CGPA?

Accepted Answer

Grades like U (arrear), SA (shortage of attendance) and WD (withdrawal) carry no credit points, so they're left out of the average, exactly like the published grading scheme. Mandatory non-credit courses are excluded entirely.
